Copper had been unwell since November 2008 he was diagnosed in December as having Chronic Colitis he became very ill and lost all quality of life, the vets could do no more for him and there was nothing else to do but put Copper to sleep.He had many awards at Open and Championship Shows with Qualifications for Crufts. As it turns out now to have been his last show in September 2008 the Judges remarks were nice type of cocker, good neck and shoulders, well ribbed, strong quarters and correct ever wagging tail this is how we will remember Copper he was a great showman and loved the show ring.
